Raised by a single mother, Lady Alswell witnessed the incredible strength and resilience her mother displayed in providing for her and her two brothers. In a statement , she said, 'there were days when I didn't know where my  family's next meal  would come from, and that planted a huge amount of  fear in me'. She decided at a tender age to dedicate her life in fending for others going through what she went through or  who are in  worse situations.

Lady Alswell's early life experiences instilled in her a deep sense of empathy and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others facing similar hardships. She recognized the importance of education, nourishment, and stable living conditions in shaping the future of women and children. Determined to create opportunities for empowerment and improve the quality of life for vulnerable individuals, Lady Alswell set out on a mission to establish Bethel Arms.
